Toys for my 18 months old daughter

Here are a few toys which I bought for my 18 months old daughter.

1. Geometric angle blocks, sorting and stacking toy


I bought the Geometric Angle Blocks (#affiliate_link) toy when my daughter was 16 months old. Initially, she struggled with stacking the shapes, but by the age of two years she had learnt stacking the shapes. At 2 years, identifying the color of the shapes is still a problem for her.

2. Hammer Ball Knock Pounding Bench with Box Case

I got the Hammer Ball Knock game (#affiliate_link) when the baby was 20 months old. This new toy was interesting for my daughter and she enjoyed knocking the balls in the box. Slowly she perfected the skill.

3. Beatmaker


Got the Beatmaker (#affiliate_link) toy when my daughter was 21 months old. She was curious about this initially and learnt to switch on lights. But gradually it fell out of favor.

4. Mini football

Whenever my daughter is outdoors, football (#affiliate_link) is the thing she loves to play with. It makes her move around, run, and learn catching and kicking.

5. Board Books


I bought books (#affiliate_link) when my daughter was 20 months old. The books included Animals, Vegetables and Fruits, Alphabet, Food. Within 2 months she was able to memorize and identify more than 70% of all items in the books. She loved identifying the pictures when asked. It also helped her pronounce many new words.

Toys my daughter received on her second birthday

Here are a few toys which my daughter received on her second birthday. 1. Bicycle My in-laws gifted her a bicycle . My daughter was really very excited about it. She enjoyed climbing on it and trying to ride it. It was a little bigger and her feet were not able to paddle, but slowly she learnt. She was happy to attach balloons to it and place her doll in the carrier while riding it. 2. Tent house My daughter loved this tent house . She enjoyed sitting inside, peeping through the window, placing her doll and other toys inside and sleeping inside. 3. Kids laptop My daughter found the laptop interesting and loved pressing keys in it. Though it was a bit heavy for her, and she didn't understand what it spoke, but it was helping her learn few words and alphabet. 4. Pink ballet She loved this new Belly Flat . 5.
